If there’s a problem with something you purchased from us, The Hub Bike Co-op will gladly accept returns within 30 days of original purchase date. 

Items must be in new condition with original packaging and include all manuals, small parts and accessories provided with the product.

You may return merchandise to any Hub Bike Co-op location during regular business hours or by mail. Please use the original shipping container and packing materials, if possible.

You will be responsible for correctly packaging your return item so it is not damaged in shipping.

You will be responsible for all shipping charges for returned merchandise.

Refunds for a credit card purchase will be credited to the card that the original purchase was made on.

Refunds for purchases made with a Hub Bike Co-op Gift Card or Store Credit will have a new store credit issued.

Please provide us with a copy of your original receipt for prompt service.

Orders usually ship 1-3 Business days after being placed, excluding holidays. We do not ship outside of the Continental U.S.

Bikes being shipped from out of state warehouses require additional shipping charges.

In-Store Pickup

Most orders of in-stock items (besides bikes*) will be fulfilled in 1-2 business days.

We will call or email you once your order is ready for pickup. 

*BIKES: Orders of in-stock bikes are ready for pickup within one week of purchase, as our mechanics need time to quality check and assemble your bike.

Please keep in mind that some items may require additional processing time to transfer from our other location. Other items may require additional processing time for assembly.

If you need an item right away we ask that you call us to confirm that the product is available before heading over to one of our stores

We have two brick and mortar stores, before coming in to pick up an item that is in-stock, please call to confirm location.

Unless special arrangements are made in advance, orders need to be picked up within 15 days or a 10% restocking fee will be charged.


As a fully-authorized online dealer for all of the brands that we sell online, any order you place is backed by the Manufacturer's Warranty. Every manufacturer has different warranty policies, so if you have an item you ordered from The Hub Bike Co-op’s Online Store that is damaged and you believe it should be covered by the Manufacturer's Warranty, please follow these guidelines:        

  • This procedure is only for orders placed online at If you made your purchase in one of our retail stores, please contact or visit The Hub Bike Co-op during regular business hours

  • In almost all instances, the customer is liable for shipping charges to get the damaged item back to The Hub Bike Co-op or to the Manufacturer

  • For approved warranty claims, The Hub Bike Co-op will cover the shipping to get the item back to you

  • Each Manufacturer has different warranty policies and procedures. We will reply to your initial notification within 2 business days, and will then work with you and the Manufacturer to resolve the issue in a timely manner

  • The evaluation of the warranty is at the discretion of the Manufacturer.

  • Manufacturer Warranties only cover Manufacturer Defects. If your item is damaged due to misuse, wear and tear, or abuse, it will not be covered by warranty

  • To begin a Warranty Evaluation Request, please fill out the Warranty Request Form.

We will respond to all Warranty Evaluation Requests within 2 business days, and will work with the Manufacturer to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Depending on the situation we may be able to repair or replace the item, or issue a full refund.


Occasionally, some items are unexpectedly out of stock or unavailable and may be backordered. If this should occur, we will only bill your credit card for merchandise that is actually shipped. The total shipping charge for orders split into multiple shipments will not exceed the amount quoted on original order. You will be notified by e-mail if any items are backordered.

We appreciate your understanding should any of the prices or other information provided be incorrect and regret any inconvenience such mistakes may create. We reserve the right to withdraw incorrect prices that are in error.

Information Security

We protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts all of the information you provide to us and prevents outside parties from being able to "see" your transaction information. When your account information is displayed on your screen, we only display the last five digits of your credit card numbers. You also have the choice of whether or not to save credit card information with us in your Online Account.
