The internet is a great well of resources for bike stuff, both good at bad. If you're stuck in a repair, Twin Cities' own famously local bike tool company, Park Tool (based out of St. Paul, MN), has some really great repair resources that we recommend! Check out their website for detailed step-by-step instructions with photos and videos to repair and maintain your bike.

Park Tool Repair Help

We also teach a FREE Fix-a-Flat Class:  this FREE hour-long class is designed to keep you on your bike and enjoying your ride! We’ll go over the tools needed to fix your flat, how to identify its cause, and techniques for making the whole process quick and painless. Bring your bike to practice on and wear clothes you won’t mind getting dirty. These classes are free of charge with the donation of a canned food item (for our local food shelf).

The Hub's Education Department is an officially-certified Park Tool School! If you want to learn more bicycle maintenance tips, check out the rest of our classes and the Park Tool Big Blue Book of Bicycle Repair.
