Named after one of the most iconic sections of coastline and Insta-inspiring gravel riding of the American West, the Marin Headlands embodies everything about this beautiful and rugged terrain. A full unidirectional carbon chassis is purpose-built for multi-surface adventures, be they short days or long weeks in the saddle. The 1x specific construction of the frame means short chainstays that still fit up to 700x45mm/650Bx47mm tires. Paired with longer top tubes and shorter stems, the bike takes cues from modern mountain bikes on technical off-road trail while still maintaining a comfortable, fast, and efficient ride on flatter terrain. Internal housing and tons of mounts on the frame allow you to fit the bike with anything, from water and tubes to a full custom frame bag from your favorite maker using the attachments found around the front triangle. Meanwhile, conventional rack and fender mounts can transition the bike into a capable winter commuter.
Unidirectional Carbon Fiber Frame
The Headlands has a unidirectional carbon fiber frame designed to meet the demands of modern gravel and endurance riders and racers with large tire clearance, a 142x12mm thru-axle, and multiple frame eyelets for customized hydration and framebag needs.

BROAM | 40
ENDLESS VERSATILITY. BOUNDLESS ADVENTURE.
Built with Shimano’s gravel-specific GRX components with a 2x drivetrain and gearing designed for tackling whatever topography you come across.
Different wheel sizes give you the freedom to run whatever size or type of tire you wish. That’s why we made the Broam compatible with both 650b and 700c wheel sizes. The Broam comes standard with 700c hoops, the traditional size for road bikes. They can accommodate up to 45mm-wide tires, giving you the versatility to select your optimal rubber for whatever route you have in mind. If you opt to switch out your stock wheels for a set of 650 alternatives, you can fit tires that are up to 2.1 inches wide.
Long days in the saddle—and especially multi-day tours through parts unknown— will require extra supplies. The Broam features a mounting location along the top tube for installing a “bento box” storage bag. The Broam also comes with a fender hardware kit in order to mount the majority of rain-combatting options on the market. It also features cleverly hidden rack mounts for both utility and sleek aesthetics. Simple integration means that when it’s time to ditch the baggage and race your buddies along the pavement or gravel, the Broam is ready—like a superhero shedding its street clothes to speed off and save the day.
Disc brakes are the new standard for drop-handlebar bikes in all riding conditions. They provide more stopping power, greater modulation, and more consistent performance than rim brakes, especially when the weather turns nasty. Complementing the Broam’s disc brakes are 12mm thru-axles, which provide a more secure interface over traditional quick-release skewers, along with better stiffness for quicker acceleration, better handling, and crisper shifting. Maximum control over any terrain, all day long. That’s what the Broam is about.

Cross-Check is a tough-as-nails, super-versatile road bike that performs astonishingly well on any surface.
There is no such thing as one bike that can do it all, but Cross-Check comes pretty damn close. It's a dyed-in-the-wool commuter and utility rig. It was a gravel crusher long before "gravel bikes" existed. Some people have even raced cyclocross on it. Though, we don't necessarily condone that behavior.
Cross-Check was the first complete bike we ever offered. Since then, people have modified them hundreds of different ways to suit their riding styles and preferences. There’s a reason that nearly every person who has ever worked for Surly has owned one.
- Semi-horizontal dropouts for singlespeed compatibility and wheelbase adjustability
- Gnot-Rite dropout spacing allows installation of 130 or 135mm hubs
- Accommodations for front and rear racks and fenders
- Clearance for 700 x 42mm tires with or without fenders

$699.00
There is no such thing as one bike that can do it all, but the Cross-Check comes mighty close. It's a cyclocross bike by design, but don’t be fooled into thinking that it has only one purpose. This jack-of-all-trades will do just as well getting you across the country as it does getting you across town. At home on the road, on trails, and on gravel, the Cross-Check'll fit pretty big tires, or smaller ones if you like. It can be built as a geared bike, a singlespeed, or a fixed-gear.
The Cross-Check’s frame is engineered to supply a comfortable but lively ride. The tubing is CroMoly steel, high quality, custom-drawn, and built to our specifications. It's designed to work with components of popular sizes, meaning you can find both new and old parts to hang on this frame. It will accommodate a wide range of crank types and chainring sizes. It's got accommodations for racks and fenders (front and rear) and, because of its ample tire clearance, you can outfit it to suit where and how you will use it.
There's a reason the Cross-Check has remained popular after all these years. The frame is comfy, tough as nails, and super versatile. Surly continues to hear from people for whom the Cross-Check has long been their go-to bike simply because it performs so astonishingly well on any surface.
