Just a kiss of leather (Sorry Vegans!). The compact design is intended to fit more comfortably on smaller torsos, but there is enough adjustability to accommodate larger torsos as well. Is it 100% waterproof -- no. But, the bag is sewn such that the inside pockets have no seams to the exterior.
