COVID-19 Actions and Preparations

Updated March 24, 2021

The state and federal governments have recognized that bike shops are essential to our transportation infrastructure, and we have maintained business hours throughout this pandemic. The safety of our staff and community is a priority for us. We are open to the public daily, but we urge you:  if you exhibit any signs of sickness stay at home.

Any in-person interactions at our shops require a mask or face covering that covers nose and mouth, with exception to those who cannot keep a mask on their face (viz. children). For those who otherwise cannot wear a mask, we can accommodate you over the phone and with contactless pick up/drop off.

Please maintain a 6-foot distance while interacting with Hub workers and community members at the shop.

Curbside Pick-up and in-store shopping is available daily at our Minnehaha Ave location.

Bike sales are currently operating only out of our 3016 Minnehaha Ave location. Stop by and take a test ride today! We have a shop capacity of up to 10 customers inside at a time. You can also browse our selection of bikes online:

Bicycle repairs* are active at both Hub locations:
- Longfellow (3016 Minnehaha Ave) location is scheduling tune-ups 4-6 weeks after we check-in the bike.
- University Bike Center (401 SE Oak St) location typically has a 3 week turn-around time for tune-ups and other repairs.

Repair Services Menu

*We cannot schedule any repairs without first having your bike in our shop. As the typical busy summer season picks up, please be prepared to wait a week or two from the day you bring your bike in for us to begin work on your bike. We realize that this timeline may not work for everyone and apologize for this inconvenience. We are doing our best to keep up with on-the-spot flat tire fixes, and some quick adjustments while you wait.

We will continue to provide updates here on our website, through our newsletter (subscribe here), and on social media channels (facebook & instagram). Click the button below to learn more about our modified operations during this time:

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who does not respect our safety guidelines.
