Policies and Shipping


We stand behind everything we sell. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item within 30 days and we'll replace it or give you a refund. Please read "Returns" below for more information.

Most orders will be ready within one business day. Please keep in mind that some items may require additional processing time to transfer from off-site locations. Other items may require additional processing time for assembly. We will call or email you once your order is ready for pickup. If you need an item right away we ask that you call us to confirm that the product is available before heading over to our store. Unless special arrangements are made in advance, orders need to be picked up within 15 days or a 10% restocking fee will be charged.


We protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts all of the information you provide to us and prevents outside parties from being able to "see" your transaction information. When your account information is displayed on your screen, we only display the last five digits of your credit card numbers. You also have the choice of whether or not to save credit card information with us in your Online Account.


As a fully authorized online dealer for all of the brands we sell online, any order you place is backed by the manufacturers warranty. Every manufacturer has different warranty policies, so if you have an item you ordered from The Hub Bike Co-op’s Online Store that is damaged and you believe it should be covered by the Manufacturer's Warranty, please follow these guidelines:        

  • This procedure is only for orders placed online at thehubbikecoop.org. If you made your purchase in one of our retail stores, please contact or visit The Hub Bike Co-op during regular business hours

  • In almost all instances, the customer is liable for shipping charges to get the damaged item back to The Hub Bike Co-op or the Manufacturer

  • For approved warranty claims, The Hub Bike Co-op will cover the shipping to get the item back to you

  • Each Manufacturer has different Warranty Policies and Procedures. We will reply to your initial notification within 2 business days and will then work with you and the Manufacturer to resolve the issue in a timely manner

  • The evaluation of the warranty is at the discretion of the Manufacturer.

  • Manufacturer Warranties only cover Manufacturer Defects. If your item is damaged due to misuse, wear and tear or abuse, it will not be covered by Warranty

  • To start a Warranty Evaluation Request, please provide the following information to: online@thehubbikecoop.biz with “Online Warranty Claim” in the subject line:

      • Customer Name

      • Preferred contact email address

      • Preferred contact phone number

      • Ticket # (on receipt) or attach a photograph of your receipt

      • Description of Damaged Item(s)

      • Description of the damage to the items (please provide as much detail as possible. This will assist in communications with the manufacturer)

      • Attach photos of the damaged item(s)

We will respond to all Warranty Evaluation Requests within 2 business days, and will work with the Manufacturer to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Depending on the situation we can issue a full refund, repair or replace the item.


If there’s a problem with something you purchased from us, The Hub Bike Co-op will gladly accept returns within 30 days of original purchase date. Items must be in new condition with original packaging and include all manuals, small parts and accessories provided with the product.

You may return merchandise to any Hub Bike Co-op location during regular business hours or by mail. Please use the original shipping container and packing materials, if possible.

You will be responsible for correctly packaging your return item so it is not damaged in shipping.

You will be responsible for all shipping charges for returned merchandise.

Refunds for a credit card purchase will be credited to the card the original purchase was made on.

Refunds for purchases made with an Hub Bike Co-op Gift Card or Store Credit will have a new store credit issued.

Please provide us with a copy of your original receipt for prompt service.

For return questions please e-mail us at online@thehubbikecoop.biz with a detailed message, including your name, phone number and a brief description of the product and/or problem. We will respond as soon as possible*.

If you are not comfortable ordering on-line, we accept orders by phone in addition to on-line service. How you place the order is up to you, be assured your order will be completed in a safe, timely and professional manner.

*Our Online Sales are managed by a separate department at The Hub Bike Co-op. Please refrain from calling our “brick & mortar” locations with questions or concerns about your online purchases. Occasionally, some items are unexpectedly out of stock or unavailable and may be backordered. If this should occur, we will only bill your credit card for merchandise that is actually shipped. The total shipping charge for orders split into multiple shipments will not exceed the amount quoted on original order. You will be notified by e-mail if any items are backordered.


This website is intended to help you. We make every effort to maintain current, accurate prices and inventory levels in our on-line catalog. And we strive for similar accuracy and timeliness with the other information we offer here.

We appreciate your understanding should any of the prices or other information provided be incorrect and regret any inconvenience such mistakes may create. Please bring any errors you may find to our attention on your next visit or by calling any Hub location during scheduled business hours or sending an e-mail to online@thehubbikecoop.biz. They will be corrected as quickly as our infrastructure will allow. We reserve the right to withdraw incorrect prices that are in error.



Due to authorized dealer agreements, we are unable to sell all the brands represented on our web site directly through the Internet.
