The Hub is proud to collaborate with Gladys Bikes (Portland, OR) and Surly to hosta fit workshop for femme, trans, women, and gender non-conforming cyclists at Midwest Mountaineering!
Sunday, February 18th, 3pm – 4:30pm
When it comes to talking about bike fit, there can be many things to consider, whether you're shopping for a new mountain bike or getting that touring rig ready to take on your next adventure. "Fit" can describe everything from front end setup to choosing the perfect saddle, so there's a lot that goes into getting a dream bike comfortable for every unique human. It can also sometimes be not so exciting to talk about some of those less comfortable or particularly awkward fit issues that come up (we've all been there).
That's why The Hub Bicycle Co-Op, Surly Bikes, and our extra special guest Leah Benson of Gladys Bikes (Portland, OR) are joining forces to bring you a workshop focusing on basic bike and saddle fit! This workshop will be held Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Midwest Mountaineering's Expedition Room.
The event is for FTW (femme/trans/women), gender non-confirming, and two-spirit identifying folks.
Come socialize, ask our panelists your cycling fit and saddle-specific questions, check out a variety of bike set ups, and learn about making your bike fit your needs and ride more efficiently and comfortably.
We'll have skill-sharing, lots of saddles to check out, some resources to bring home (and maybe some prizes), and of course snacks.
